REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect harness connector (2) from binary switch (3).
2.
Remove binary switch (3) and preformed packing (4) from receiver-dryer (1). Discard preformed packing.

INSTALLATION
1.
Lightly coat new preformed packing (4) with refrigerant lubricating oil. Install preformed packing on threads of
receiver-dryer (1) coupling.
2.
Install binary switch (3) and tighten to 108 lb-in (1220 Ncm).
3.
Connect harness connector (2) to binary switch (3).
4.
Close hood (TM 9-2320-302-10).
5.
Start vehicle and check operation of air conditioner (TM 9-2320-302-10).
