SLOW OR ERRATIC AUTOMATIC SHIFTING
Step 1. Check transmission oil level on dipstick (1) with engine running and
transmission at normal operating temperature of 160°-220°F (71°-104°C).
a. If oil level is low add proper grade of oil to raise level to
full (see LO 9-2320-270-12).
