BACKHOE SWING CYLINDER REPAIR (CONT)
REMOVE piston ROD (4) from tube (2).

WARNING
Pin is under spring pressure.
W e a r safety goggles. Remove
b o l t carefully to avoid possible
injury.
4.
REMOVE BOLT (5), washer (6), pin (7),
spring (8), and ball (9) from piston rod (4).
5.
REMOVE PISTON (10) from piston rod (4).
REMOVE and DISCARD two wear RINGS
6.
(11), RETAINER (12), and PACKING (13)
from piston (10).
