FLUID REGULATING VALVE (P/N 0 481 039 202) REPAIR
NOTE
Plate washers should
face
diaphragm, as shown.
INSTALL new cup seal (22), spring (23), plate
8.
washer (24), new DIAPHRAGM (25), plate
washer (26), and nut (27) on screw (28).
INSTALL DIAPHRAGM assembly (29), spring
9.
(30), spring seat (31), and cover (32) on
regulating valve housing (9).
PLACE regulating valve HOUSING (9) in
10.
soft-jawed VISE, COMPRESS SPRING (30),
and INSTALL four SCREWS (33).
REMOVE fluid regulating VALVE (34) from
11.
vise.
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance:
Install fluid regulating valve (TM 5-
2420-224-20).
