STARTER BRUSHES REPLACEMENT (CONT)
IF REMOVED, INSTALL new brush set BRACKET (1) in brush holder (2) and housing (3).
1.
CAUTION
U s e care to avoid damaging brushes.
INSTALL BRUSH in its bracket on brush holder (2). INSTALL DOWEL in brush holder (2)
2.
approximately half the width of brush to hold brush in place.
REPEAT STEP 2 for remaining three brushes in brush set bracket (1).
3.
HOLD four DOWELS together and INSTALL HOUSING (3) and brush holder (2) over armature (4).
4.
REMOVE four DOWELS and completely INSTALL HOUSING (3) in housing (5).
5.
IF REMOVED, INSTALL new BUSHING (6) in end bell (7).
6.
INSTALL end BELL (7), two washers (8), and two nuts (9) on housing (3).
7.
INSTALL new washer(s) (10), new shim(s) (11), and new lock washer RING (12) as noted during
8.
Removal.
