AIR COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR (CONT)
USING W R E N C H , INSTALL new suction
6.
VALVE (10) in cylinder head (11). TIGHTEN
VALVE to 133 15 Ib-ft (180 20 Nm).
7.
INSTALL new pressure VALVE (12), new
gasket (13), and nut (14). TIGHTEN NUT to
7 1 Ib-ft (10 1 Nm).
CAUTION
F l a t side of each bolt must be
f a c i n g center of bottom portion
of connecting rod to prevent
d a m a g e to equipment.
1.
INSTALL bottom portion of connecting ROD
(1) on camshaft (2).
2.
INSTALL upper portion of connecting ROD (3)
and two nuts (4). TIGHTEN NUTS to
11-15 Ib-ft (15-20 Nm).
