TYPICAL PANEL MOUNTING RECEPTACLE: DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
DISASSEMBLY
Unscrew nut from shell assembly and slide back on wire leads.
1.
Push grommet back on wire leads.
2.
Drive contacts out through rear of insert with pin extractor.
3.
Push insert out through rear of shell.
4.
Unsolder wire leads from contacts.
5.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Strip cable insulation equal to depth of solder wells of contacts.
2.
Slide nut over wire leads.
Slide grommet over wire leads.
3.
Insert wire leads into solder wells of contacts, and solder.
4.
Push insert into shell from rear until seated. Groove in insert must be alined with guide in shell to

ensure proper fit.
Push contacts into insert from rear until seated.
6.
Push grommet down wire leads and over solder wells of contacts.
7.
Screw nut onto shell assembly.
