SETTING THE METER
CAUTION
T h e multimeter must be set to
a voltage range higher than
that  being  measured  or
m u l t i m e t e r could be damaged.

Connect red lead to V-OHMS jack.
Connect black lead to COM jack.

S e t multimeter switches as specified in

TM 11-6625-3052-14.

Depress appropriate voltage range switch. If
voltage being measured is unknown, select
1000 V range.

Set FUNCTION switch (1) to DIRECT.
Plug black (-) lead (2) in -DC/AC/OHMS

jack. If measuring less than 2.5 volts DC, use

To measure 24 volts DC, set selector switch

volts DC, set selector switch to V/DC 10. If

switch to V/DC 2.5.)

Set -DC/+DC switch (4) to +DC.
