Hose (1) Clamp (2) Place in position as noted during removal. 56. Clamp (2) and main Screw (4), new lock- Screw and tighten using 9/16-inch, 3/8- frame (3) washer (5), and inch drive socket and ratchet handle. washer (6) 57. Adapter (7) New packing (8) Place in position. 58. Stabilizer Adapter (7) a. Unplug cylinder (10). cylinder (9) with assembled b. Screw in and tighten using 7/8-inch packing (8) open-end wrench. 59. Adapter (7) Hose (1) Screw in and tighten using 11/16-inch and 7/8-inch open-end wrenches. 60. Handle mount (10) Control lever (11) Screw into position noted during removal. 61. Handle mount (10) Nuts (12) Using 3/4-inch open-end wrench, tighten and control until seated against handle mount (18). lever (11) 62. Loader backhoe Transmission Check fluid level and add proper amount and grade (TM 5-2420-222-10). 63. Engine Start and run at high idle (TM 5-2420-222-10). 64. Backhoe control a. Operate backhoe controls (TM 5-2420-222-10) valve-to-stabilizer and check for leaks. cylinder oil lines b. If leaking at any connection, tighten using 7/8-inch, 11/16-inch, and two 1-inch open-end wrenches. c. If leaking does not stop, shut down engine (TM 5-2420-222-10) and replace leaking connection packing, fitting, or hose as outlined in this task. d. If found leaking, repeat steps 62 thru 64. 2-1634
