Look for damaged threads.

If threads are damaged, using screw
except hardware
threading set, restore threads.
ASSEMBLY
NOTE
Linkage for both stabilizer control levers is assembled the same way. Left
stabilizer control lever linkage is shown. Repeat steps 33 thru 37 for right stabilizer
control lever linkage.

Handle mount (1)
Connector link (2)

Place handle mount (1) in machinist’s
vise.
b.
Coat with grease.
c.
Place in position.

Handle mount (1)
Spring pin (3)
a.
Using 1-pound head ball-peen hammer
and connector
and 1/4-inch straight drive-pin punch,
link (2)
tap in.

Take handle mount (1) out of
machinist’s vise.
