Electrolyte and battery corrosion can cause injury. Wear safety goggles and
gloves. If for any reason electrolyte or battery corrosion contacts the eyes, skin, or
clothing, flush immediately with large amounts of cool water and seek medical
attention immediately.

Terminal clamp (1)

Using 1/2-inch open-end and 1/2-inch box

wrenches, loosen.

Positive battery

Note position for proper placement

Using battery terminal puller, pull
off.

Put clamp (1) where it will not touch
terminal (4).
