and replace as outlined in this task.

Fuel shutoff valve
a. Check for leaks.

b. If leaking at any connection, using
connector (7), and
7/16-inch, 1/2-inch, for 5/8-inch
tube (8)
open-end wrench, tighten.
c. If leaking does not stop, shut down engine (TM
5-2420-222-10) and replace defective parts as
outlined in Fuel Shutoff Valve (page 2-273), Fuel
Shutoff Valve-to-Fuel Pump Fuel Line (page 2-
264), and Leak-Off Cap-to-Fuel Tank Fuel Line
(page 2-268).
