When changing engine oil, change engine oil filter element at the same time.

OC or Drain crankcase (page 2-145). Remove engine oil filter element, and Install

AIR CLEANER

Clean air cleaner element. Replace if element is damaged or does not respond to cleaning

(TM 5-2420-222-10).

V-BELT

Check to see if V-belt (1) is frayed, cracked, or broken.

*On condition (OC) oil sample intervals shall be applied unless changed by the Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP)

laboratory (LO 5-2420-222-12).
