WARNING
Ensure muffler is cool before beginning task. Failure to do so could result in serious burns.
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during
procedure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury.
REMOVAL
1.
Remove four capscrews (1) and nuts (2) from top and

bottom clamp halves (3). Remove top clamp halves
from muffler (4).

2.
Loosen screw (5) on hose clamp (6). Separate dust
ejector hose (7) from precleaner body (8).
3.
Slide muffler (4) away from turbocharger coupling
(9). Lift muffler with dust ejector pipe (10) from
engine assembly.
